Ashley Payne, APRN, began her career as a nurse almost 8 years ago. She has found her passion for patients’ health and wellness with Axis HealthCare.  

Growing up, Ashley always knew she wanted to be a nurse.  She began her education in medicine at Rogers State University, where she earned her Associate’s in nursing. Ashley went on to further her education at Oklahoma Wesleyan University to earn her Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Ashley began her journey in the medical field in a rural hospital emergency department, she felt she could be doing more for her patients. So, she went back to school to earn her Master’s degree in Nursing from Maryville University to help patients directly as a nurse practitioner.  

Ashley believes in being an advocate for her patients and their well-being. She wants her patients to know that she is doing everything she can for them. She enjoys forming lasting relationships with her patients and ensuring that all their needs are met.  

Ashley has been married to her husband for the last 18 years and has three boys. When she is not treating patients, you can find her on the sidelines of all the boys’ games. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and spending time with family.
