Gregory A. Hightower MD is a board-certified member of the American Board of Family Medicine focusing on outpatient medical care for the entire family. From newborn and pediatric care to adolescence and young adulthood, and reaching into middle/late adulthood and beyond, Dr. Hightower is passionate about caring for patients in every season of their lives.
Dr. Hightower attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His residency training was completed at Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, Kansas, where he had significant training in both hospital-based and clinic-based care of infants, children, adults, and elderly patients, with a strong focus in women’s health.
Having served in women’s health and pregnancy care previously, Dr. Hightower has a caring and compassionate insight into the health and wellness of young families. His experience with senior and elderly individuals also highlights his sincere and competent abilities to care for multiple generations of patients.
Dr. Hightower strongly believes in the importance of the primary care relationship as a cooperative work of mutual respect. He embodies this by focusing on preventative healthcare (the prevention of illness by promoting healthy lifestyle choices, risk-based screening for disease, interventions to prevent disease), evidence-based care for illness and disease, and understanding the importance of individualized health plans that educate and empower patients.
