Alaina Stretch, FNP-C | Bixby, OK

Alaina Stretch is a Family Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive primary care with a special focus on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Originally from Muskogee and now living in Broken Arrow, Alaina brings both deep clinical experience and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to her practice.

Alaina has been a registered nurse since 2017, with a strong background in ICU and CVICU care. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Connors State College in 2016, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2018, and went on to complete two graduate degrees at Western Governors University—an MSN in Leadership and Management in 2021 and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2025. In addition to her clinical work, Alaina is also a certified yoga instructor and values the role of movement and mindfulness in overall health.

She chose Axis because she felt an immediate connection to the culture—describing the team as genuinely kind, honest, and deeply committed to both patients and employees. Alaina believes those values directly translate into better patient care.

When she’s not in the clinic, Alaina enjoys crocheting, exercising, crafting, playing video games, and spending quality time with her husband and two daughters. Their household also includes a beloved basset hound and a Maine Coon cat.

Patients often describe Alaina as calm, approachable, and easy to talk to. She strives to make every visit comfortable and productive, addressing concerns thoroughly while keeping things light when appropriate. Alaina is honest, always open to learning, and loves building meaningful connections with her patients—especially when that includes swapping stories and seeing pictures of kids or pets.
