Karleigh Whitten is a dedicated healthcare professional from Okay, Oklahoma, specializing in weight loss and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She enjoys reading, playing volleyball and pickleball, and spending time with her husband, their families, and their Aussie/Catahoula mix, Luna. Weekends often find her at baseball games, supporting her husband, who is a baseball coach, and serving at a campus ministry. She chose Axis HealthCare for its values and the familial atmosphere, making it a place she loves to work.
Karleigh’s journey into medicine was inspired by her twin brother, born with a rare medical condition. Accompanying him to numerous appointments and witnessing the impact of compassionate care sparked her desire to help others similarly. Coming from a close-knit family with a passion for sports and board games, Karleigh brings a strong sense of community and empathy to her practice. She graduated from Okay High School in 2017, earned her bachelor’s degree in medical and molecular biology from Rogers State University in 2021, and completed her master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Northeastern State University in 2023.
Karleigh wants her patients to know that she genuinely cares about them and is committed to making them feel seen and heard. When patients visit her, they can expect her full attention to their concerns and a compassionate, collaborative approach aimed at addressing their needs effectively.
