Irene Warwick, LPC | Bixby, OK

Irene Warwick, LPC, is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, honesty, and respect. She works with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and everyday life stressors, creating a safe and supportive environment where healing and personal growth can begin.

Originally from Norman, Oklahoma, Irene moved to Tulsa in 1990 to teach special education before pursuing her passion for counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and later completed her master’s degree in Counseling at Oklahoma State University. Her lifelong fascination with the human brain and curiosity about human nature inspired her career in mental health.

Irene believes every patient deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported. She prioritizes building trusting relationships through open communication, honesty, professionalism, and a genuine sense of humor. Patients can expect a confidential, welcoming space where their well-being remains the primary focus throughout their care.

She chose to join Axis Healthcare because of its comprehensive services, patient-centered philosophy, and collaborative team approach, allowing her to provide well-rounded care while working alongside other healthcare professionals.

Outside of the office, Irene enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and staying physically active. On weekends, she loves making memories with family and friends and volunteers with a local pet rescue organization. She also credits her Norwegian heritage for teaching her the value of hard work and gratitude, and she’ll happily admit that mint chocolate ice cream is one of life’s simple pleasures.
